Exclusive! Here we see a photo of actor David Tennant, on the verge of giving a rude gesture, to an extra who repeatedly approached Tennant, asking for a snog.
Tennant was intensely preparing for a deeply emotional scene, and refused the requests, which angered the extra, resulting in a rant of rude insinuations involving both the length---and the various functions-- of Tennant's copulation organ, some of which, we are told, would have been physically impossible for the actor.
Tennant became so rattled by this display, that in a rare fit of temper, he gave the extra a rude salute, before storming off the set. The extra, an actor named Melvin Plott, was duly fired on the spot. He is now said to be presently working on East Enders, with a speaking role.
Tennant was persuaded back to the set by an offer from producer Russell T. Davies, to supply the actor with all the whiskey, haggis and women he wanted, after the shoot.
